Cable granulation system C.MD-2022

In addition to the recently introduced model with a new separator, the C.MD cable granulation system is receiving another upgrade—a completely revamped control concept that significantly simplifies operation.

With the SIEMENS LOGO! PLC, the entire start sequence of the system is fully automated. During operation, the power consumption of the cutting mill is visualized via a bar graph on the PLC screen, eliminating the need for the previously used ammeter. The stop sequence, and thus the shutdown of individual components, is also fully automated. This sequence is only initiated once the power consumption of the cutting mill reaches the pre-programmed range. This ensures that overloading of the mill, which would prevent a restart, is completely avoided.

The control panel now appears more organized and user-friendly.
